Got My Letter From Roger Goodell Today
The players’ union walked out on negotiations even though the clubs were giving them a great deal, and has initiated litigation. That was pretty much the gist of it. Part of the deal was keeping the 16-4 season format for at least two years. I’m not surprised by this at all, though, really, given what I had heard leading up to this point. Now I guess we wait to see what the court decides, unless they can reach an agreement out of court.
