I like that one of the spelling recommendations for “THanks” is “T Hanks” (the first one, in fact). I guess that’s for when you want to talk about Tom Hanks but don’t want to spell out “Tom” or use a period.

A Little Peek Into My Mind
Earlier when the girl at the window at Taco Bell asked me if I wanted any sauce, I said “sure. Medium please.” Then she gave me hot sauce (I guess “hot“‘s the new “medium”, but that’s not the point here). So I get home, and realized I had five packs of hot sauce for one taco. Then I felt like I had to go back to Taco Bell four more times.

Of all the arguments and rants, I think mistercakesphotoadventures brought up the most pertinent point - that if both contractions are somehow bastardizations of phonetics, maybe we should just go with the onomatopoeia. I so enjoyed this spelling that I am officially replacing my use of ya’ll with yawl as I have seen it spelled in old books.
